There are situations in which you may need to write a quick note, for example a food recipe or a website link, for recalling it later on. In this case, you could use Notepad, the text editor that comes with Windows. Unfortunately, this is not the best idea, as Notepad is very limited in features and doesn't allow you to organize your notes properly. A much better idea would be to use the Flashnote application, a Windows program specially designed in writing any kind of notes and also organizing them in the most efficient way possible.

After installing and launching the application, the user will be presented with an intuitive interface, which resembles the one of Notepad, but it's more complex. In the left part of the interface, the user will notice a notes tree, which allows adding various titles for the notes and also organizing them. One can create child notes, which can be related with a master note.

By accessing the top menu, the user will be able to modify the font type, size and color and also insert a new line or the date and time. Advanced users can modify the menu and can add their own options. After creating the notes, one will be able to save them as regular text files or export the complete program database to a file, for loading it later on.

Pros

It allows you to write any kind of note and organize all of them using a notes tree. Besides that, the font type, size and color can be customized. What's more, the program menu can be modified. Furthermore, the program's notes database can be exported to a file.

Cons

Some users may find the application too simple. Flashnote allows you to create any kind of note and organize all of them in a tree-like system.
